Barry M Lip Lacquer Crayons

When i heard Barry M were releasing these i was so excited. After Mascara, Lip products are my next favourite thing.
The Lip Laquers are basically lipstick in a jumbo pencil form.
They have the consistency of lipstick with a really glossy shine and are packed with dazzling shimmer.
I'm not usually a big fan of shimmer in lip colours but these are gorgeous, it gives that ruby slipper effect on the lips.
There are 5 colours to choose from a pale pink, a red, a rasberry, a orange and a bright pink
I tested the pale pink in the shop and although it was pretty its didnt seem as opaque as the others so i went and bought number 1, Scarlet Red and number 2 Cherry Red.



Scarlet red is lovely but Cherry Red is definitely my fave.

Maybelline 'The Falsies'

I really need to stop buying mascara's but its like an addiction for me.

love playing up my eyes and mascara is the perfect thing when it works well.

So today i went and bought Maybellines new addition 'The Falsies'.

Its in the exact same style tube as 'Colossal' but its a bright purple colour instead of yellow.

The brush is a 'spoon' shape that curves around your lashes and is designed to grab each one and coat them to create a volumising effect. The bristles inside the curve are short, and the ones on either side are longer, presumably to create length.

I brought it in 'Black' and that was the only colour they had on sale.

So i put about three coats on and it gave me nice dark long looking lashes. However i dont find it particularly volumising which is what its mainly marketed for.

Personally i like the effect becuase i like the big spidery lash look but for someone looking for bushy voluminous lashes you may be a little dissapointed.

Im pretty impressed but im not sure whether it is better than my current number one, Loreal Voluminous, as this gives great length but also a lot of volume and does leave my lashes feeling slightly softer than 'The Falsies' harder formulation.

Bourjois Hi Tech Lipstain

Im on a bright lip kick at the minute and one of my favourite lipsticks is Revlons 'Cherries in the Snow'. Its a gorgeous rasberry-red colour.

However being a lipstick it can be high maintence, checking its still there after eating, being careful of smudging etc. So i went on a search for something a little bit more manageble for when im having a lazy day.

And i found this.

This is Bourjois Rouge Hi-tech Lipstain in number 86 Cyber Cassis.
The photo really doesnt do it justice as it has a lovely depth of colour just like that of 'Cherries in the Snow' but much less hassle and great staying power :)

My Experience With Lilash.

After lusting after long lushes lashes for soo long i did a little bit of reasearch and in February 09 decided to take the plunge and order Lilash from a reputable seller on ebay.

Lilash is an eyelash growth stimulant applied to the base of the lashes, like eyeliner, once daily.

It cost me around £70 at the time and my friends thought i was mad but i really wanted to try it even after reading only a handful of reviews about it. If it worked it would definitely be worth the money.

And guess what..

It did :)

These were my lashes in February, sorry about the odd red colour the light made my face :)

They are quite full but not very long.

Above is a photo taken about 3 months into using lilash. They had started to sporadically increase in lenght with some of them growing huge and others not so much.

However it did excite me that there was a definite improvement in length.

But this is the shot that says it all (sorry about the face mask lol, these were never photo's taken to make me look beautiful :P )

This was about 7 months after using lilash, they are noticably longer and much curlier. Money well spent :)

Ive read a few peoples reviews saying they experienced redness and discolouration but i didnt experience these.

My tube lasted me around 9 months and i have since purchased and started using MD LASH FACTOR. I will be monitoring lash growth and will post results :)
