Barry M Lip Lacquer Crayons

When i heard Barry M were releasing these i was so excited. After Mascara, Lip products are my next favourite thing.
The Lip Laquers are basically lipstick in a jumbo pencil form.
They have the consistency of lipstick with a really glossy shine and are packed with dazzling shimmer.
I'm not usually a big fan of shimmer in lip colours but these are gorgeous, it gives that ruby slipper effect on the lips.
There are 5 colours to choose from a pale pink, a red, a rasberry, a orange and a bright pink
I tested the pale pink in the shop and although it was pretty its didnt seem as opaque as the others so i went and bought number 1, Scarlet Red and number 2 Cherry Red.



Scarlet red is lovely but Cherry Red is definitely my fave.

Maybelline 'The Falsies'

I really need to stop buying mascara's but its like an addiction for me.

love playing up my eyes and mascara is the perfect thing when it works well.

So today i went and bought Maybellines new addition 'The Falsies'.

Its in the exact same style tube as 'Colossal' but its a bright purple colour instead of yellow.

The brush is a 'spoon' shape that curves around your lashes and is designed to grab each one and coat them to create a volumising effect. The bristles inside the curve are short, and the ones on either side are longer, presumably to create length.

I brought it in 'Black' and that was the only colour they had on sale.

So i put about three coats on and it gave me nice dark long looking lashes. However i dont find it particularly volumising which is what its mainly marketed for.

Personally i like the effect becuase i like the big spidery lash look but for someone looking for bushy voluminous lashes you may be a little dissapointed.

Im pretty impressed but im not sure whether it is better than my current number one, Loreal Voluminous, as this gives great length but also a lot of volume and does leave my lashes feeling slightly softer than 'The Falsies' harder formulation.

Bourjois Hi Tech Lipstain

Im on a bright lip kick at the minute and one of my favourite lipsticks is Revlons 'Cherries in the Snow'. Its a gorgeous rasberry-red colour.

However being a lipstick it can be high maintence, checking its still there after eating, being careful of smudging etc. So i went on a search for something a little bit more manageble for when im having a lazy day.

And i found this.

This is Bourjois Rouge Hi-tech Lipstain in number 86 Cyber Cassis.
The photo really doesnt do it justice as it has a lovely depth of colour just like that of 'Cherries in the Snow' but much less hassle and great staying power :)
